Browns Rookie C Dawson Deaton Carted off
After losing starting center Nick Harris to a season-ending knee injury on Friday, rookie center Dawson Deaton was carted off at practice today. If Deaton’s injury is serious, the Browns will be thin in the middle of their offensive line this season. With the uncertainty surrounding who will be taking the snaps in Cleveland this season, the Browns may also have to figure out who will be doing the snapping.

Jimmie Ward's Hamstring Injury "Worse than Others"
When speaking to the media on Monday, head coach Kyle Shanahan announced that safety Jimmie Ward suffered a hamstring injury, and it is "worse than others." The injury is expected to sideline him for the remainder of training camp and potentially into Week 1 of the regular season.

Marcus Peters Activated off the PUP
After missing the entire 2021 season after tearing his ACL just before the season started, Marcus Peters is now back for the Ravens. The former Pro Bowl cornerback was activated off the PUP list today and will be back practicing with the team. The Ravens' secondary is headlined by Marlon Humphrey, but Peters provides them a top-level duo in the league when they are active together.
Ravens CB Marcus Peters has passed his physical and is off PUP.
Big lift for the Baltimore secondary.

Denzel Ward Activated off the PUP
Cleveland Browns Pro Bowl cornerback Denzel Ward was activated off the PUP list on Monday. After going on the list due to a foot injury he suffered earlier this offseason, Ward returns as camp ramps up through the middle of August. Ward is coming off a Pro Bowl season in 2021, and expectations are high all around the Browns organization. His return will be a major part to the team getting ready the best that it can before the 2022 season kicks off.

Randy Gregory Activated off the PUP
The Broncos' defense is getting more help as edge rusher Randy Gregory was activated off the PUP. After sitting out the offseason program and the early parts of training camp, the former Dallas Cowboy is now ready to be activated. He underwent rotator cuff surgery in March, and after a successful rehab of that injury, he is now ready to help a Broncos team with high expectations.
#broncos pass rusher Randy Gregory is getting activated off of PUP per source. Gregory had off-season shoulder surgery and was one Denver’s big FA signings this off-season. The expectation is he should be ready for week 1.

Joe Schobert Signs with the Denver Broncos
After careers in Cleveland, Jacksonville, and Pittsburgh, Joe Schobert is signing with the Denver Broncos. The Broncos needed some linebacker depth after the injury to Jonas Griffith. Schobert is a former Pro Bowler while in Cleveland and showed in Pittsburgh last year that he can still give a team meaningful reps. Add that to the veteran leadership he will bring to the locker room, and this is a good overall signing for the Broncos in the middle of August.
The #Broncos are signing veteran LB Joe Schobert, source said, some important help at a key spot. Schobert, who starred for the #Browns and most recently was with the #Steelers, recently tried out in Denver. He helps fill the void created by an injury to Jonas Griffith.

Packers Closer to Getting Starters Back on Offense
Green Bay has been working in training camp without several key pieces of its offense, but they are a step closer to getting those players back on Sunday. Offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins, tight end Robert Tonyan, and rookie wide receiver Christian Watson are all coming off the physically unable to perform list and will begin doing individual drills. It will be the training camp debuts for all three players: Jenkins and Tonyan are recovering from torn ACLs sustained last season, while Watson had knee surgery prior to the start of camp after being drafted in the second round out of North Dakota State.
#Packers coach Matt LaFleur tells reporters that OL Elgton Jenkins, TE Robert Tonyan and WR Christian Watson will all come off the PUP list for individual drills and walk-through participation. A significant step, though.

Dolphins Lose Promising Corner for the Year
Trill Williams went undrafted in 2021 but was starting to earn his way with the Dolphins this training camp. That momentum will have to come to a pause. Doug Kyed of PFF has reported that the Dolphins' cornerback suffered a torn ACL in Saturday's preseason game. Williams had been reported to have been playing well in camp in a talented defensive backs group.
#Dolphins CB Trill Williams tore his ACL in last night’s preseason game, per source. Unfortunate injury for a player who had impressed in training camp.

Exact Amount of Damage Still Unknown for Bucs' Jensen
Tampa Bay lost starting center Ryan Jensen to a severe knee injury on July 28. Weeks later, the team is still waiting to find out if it will be a season-ending injury or if there's a possibility he could return in the later months of the year, and that is due to the amount of swelling still in his knee. That swelling is preventing the team from seeing the exact extent of the damage and learning if there's a chance it can get its Pro Bowl center back by November or December. Head coach Todd Bowles says they expect to know this week.

Joe Burrow Returns to Practice
The Cincinnati Bengals received good news on Sunday with the return of Joe Burrow to the team's practices. Burrow had been out after undergoing an appendectomy in late July, missing a total of two weeks as well as the team's 36-23 loss to the Arizona Cardinals last night in its preseason opener. Burrow had resumed throwing in practice last week, but on a limited basis.
