2024 NFL Mock Draft: Picks, Predictions For All 7 Rounds
The 2024 NFL Draft is less than two weeks away, and chatter around the league is heating up. Some expect this draft to be one of the wildest in recent memory. There could be several trades inside of the top 12 selections.
So without further ado, here is our seven-round mock draft.
2024 NFL MOCK DRAFT
1. Chicago Bears
Height: 6-foot-1
Weight: 214 pounds
Class: Junior
Fit: There is no secret at the top of the draft. Caleb Williams has been the presumed No. 1 pick for a while now. Williams will enter a fantastic situation with a solid team of weapons and an improved defense.
2. Washington Commanders
Height: 6-foot-4
Weight: 210 pounds
Class: Senior
Fit: There is still no consensus on what the Washington Commanders will do at No. 2, but Jayden Daniels is the pick that makes the most sense. Dan Quinn knows how difficult it is to stop dual-threat quarterbacks, and no player created more explosive plays than Daniels during the 2023 season.
Trade Alert
Vikings Receive: No. 3, No. 103
Patriots Receive: No. 11, No. 23, 2025 first-round pick
3. Minnesota Vikings (via NE)
Drake Maye, QB, North Carolina
Height: 6-foot-4
Weight: 223 pounds
Class: R. Sophomore
Fit: The Minnesota Vikings are expected to aggressively search for their next franchise quarterback. Rather than "settle" for J.J. McCarthy, they get aggressive and go after Drake Maye at No. 3. Maye has all the tools to be a franchise quarterback and lands in a dream spot with the Vikings.
4. Arizona Cardinals
Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State
Height: 6-foot-3
Weight: 209 pounds
Class: Junior
Fit: It wouldn't be a shock to see the Arizona Cardinals move around the board and still try to pick up an elite receiver. But in this mock draft, they stay at No. 4 and take Marvin Harrison Jr. He is one of the best wide receiver prospects in the last decade and would be a massive upgrade for Arizona.
Trade Alert
Jets Receive: No. 5
Chargers Receive: No. 10, No. 111, No. 185, 2025 second-round pick
5. New York Jets (Via LAC)
Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
Height: 6-foot-0
Weight: 200 pounds
Class: Junior
Fit: The Los Angeles Chargers want to trade down, and they find a dance partner with the New York Jets, who move up to No. 5 to select Malik Nabers. Some people around the league believe Nabers is the best wide receiver prospect in the class, and pairing him with Garrett Wilson and Mike Williams would give Aaron Rodgers plenty of weapons to target in 2024.
6. New York Giants
Rome Odunze, WR, Washington
Height: 6-foot-3
Weight: 212 pounds
Class: Senior
Fit: The New York Giants could use this pick to select J.J. McCarthy, who has fallen some in this mock draft. But with their wide receiver need so pressing, the Giants stay here and pick Rome Odunze. Arguably the cleanest prospect in the class, Odunze would give Daniel Jones a bonafide No. 1 receiver who can play on the outside or in the slot.
7. Tennessee Titans
Joe Alt, OT, Notre Dame
Height: 6-foot-9
Weight: 321 pounds
Class: Junior
Fit: This is the most commonly mocked player and team fit outside of Williams to the Bears. The Tennessee Titans need a left tackle, and Joe Alt is the clear-cut top offensive lineman in the draft. Alt would be a Day 1 starter for Tennessee, giving the team a significant upgrade on the offensive line.
8. Atlanta Falcons
Dallas Turner, EDGE, Alabama
Height: 6-foot-3
Weight: 247 pounds
Class: Junior
Fit: The Atlanta Falcons are the favorites to select the first defender in the 2024 NFL Draft, but who will that be? The safest bet is Dallas Turner, the best pass rusher in the class. He is a little undersize but has long arms and is an incredible athlete. Turner has Pro Bowl upside in Atlanta.
Trade Alert
Raiders Receive: No. 9, 2025 fifth-round pick
Bears Receive: No. 13, No. 44
9. Las Vegas Raiders (Via CHI)
J.J. McCarthy, QB, Michigan
Height: 6-foot-3
Weight: 219 pounds
Class: Junior
Fit: J.J. McCarthy falls a bit in this draft, but the Las Vegas Raiders scoop him up at No. 9. Rather than trading away a ton of draft assets for Daniels or Maye, the Raiders can grab McCarthy and still keep most of their future draft capital. He is a good fit in Luke Getsy’s offense and could sit for a while behind either Gardner Minshew or Aidan O’Connell as he gets used to the speed of the NFL.
10. Los Angeles Chargers (Via NYJ)
JC Latham, OT, Alabama
Height: 6-foot-6
Weight: 342 pounds
Class: Junior
Fit: After trading down from No. 5, the Los Angeles Chargers can still get one of the top offensive linemen in the draft. JC Latham is an excellent fit in Greg Roman's offense, which relies on running downhill and playing power football. Pairing Latham with Rashawn Slater would give Jim Harbaugh two elite tackles to build his offense around moving forward.
11. New England Patriots (Via MIN)
Olumuyiwa Fashanu, OT, Penn State
Height: 6-foot-6
Weight: 312 pounds
Class: R. Junior
Fit: The New England Patriots miss out on a franchise quarterback after trading down from No. 3 to No. 11, but they pick up a franchise left tackle. New England's offensive line was awful last year, and the team needs a long-term solution at left tackle. Olu Fashanu can help right away.
Trade Alert
Eagles Receive: No. 12
Broncos Receive: No. 22, No. 50
12. Philadelphia Eagles (Via DEN)
Terrion Arnold, CB, Alabama
Height: 6-foot-0
Weight: 189 pounds
Class: R. Sophomore
Fit: The Philadelphia Eagles' biggest need is still at cornerback, but don’t expect them to wait for one to fall to them at No. 22. They make a big move up here, selecting Terrion Arnold at No. 12. Arnold has experience playing in the slot, which will be helpful right away.
13. Chicago Bears (Via LV)
Byron Murphy, IDL, Texas
Height: 6-foot-1
Weight: 297 pounds
Class: Junior
Fit: The Bears miss out on the top three receivers at No. 9, making a trade down much more palatable. They pivot to defense at No. 13, taking arguably the best defensive player in the class. Byron Murphy is an incredible athlete who should be a disruptive player immediately.
14. NEW ORLEANS SAINTS
Taliese Fuaga, OT, Oregon State
Height: 6-foot-6
Weight: 340 pounds
Class: Junior
Fit: The New Orleans Saints' most significant need is an offensive tackle, especially with Ryan Ramczyk's uncertain future. Taliese Fuaga can play tackle or guard in the NFL, giving the Saints immediate position flexibility.
15. Indianapolis Colts
Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia
Height: 6-foot-3
Weight: 243 pounds
Class: Junior
Fit: It wouldn’t be a shock to see the Indianapolis Colts move around the board, trying to acquire Brock Bowers. But in this mock, he falls to them at No. 15. Bowers is one of the best eight players in the draft but falls a bit due to positional value. Him paired with Anthony Richardson for the next several years would be a joy to watch.
16. Seattle Seahawks
Height: 6-foot-4
Weight: 317 pounds
Class: Senior
Fit: The interior offensive line remains the most significant question mark for the Seattle Seahawks, so getting the best guard prospect at No. 17 makes sense. Troy Fautanu can play tackle in the NFL, but he projects as a Pro Bowler at guard.
17. Jacksonville Jaguars
Quinyon Mitchell, CB, Toledo
Height: 6-foot-0
Weight: 195 pounds
Class: Senior
Fit: The Jacksonville Jaguars could go in several different ways with this pick, but they select the best player on the board. Quinyon Mitchell has a chance to be the first defensive player off the board, especially after a fantastic pre-draft process. He would be a Day 1 starter for the Jaguars, giving them even more playmakers in their secondary.
18. Cincinnati Bengals
Amarius Mims, OT, Georgia
Height: 6-foot-8
Weight: 340 pounds
Class: Junior
Fit: The Cincinnati Bengals have prioritized finding mammoth offensive tackles to protect Joe Burrow, and that’s why Amarius Mims makes so much sense at No. 18. Mims has only eight career starts under his belt and might need some time to get used to the NFL, but he would be a fantastic long-term option at right tackle and could sit behind Trent Brown some in 2024.
19. Los Angeles Rams
Jared Verse, Edge, Florida State
Height: 6-foot-4
Weight: 254 pounds
Class: Senior
Fit: It wouldn’t be a surprise to see the Los Angeles Rams target a defensive tackle here after the retirement of Aaron Donald, but Jared Verse is too good of a player to pass up. Verse is the most well-rounded defensive end in the draft and would be an instant starter for the Rams in 2024.
20. Pittsburgh Steelers
Cooper DeJean, CB, Iowa
Height: 6-foot-1
Weight: 203 pounds
Class: Junior
Fit: After a fantastic Pro Day workout, the Pittsburgh Steelers brought Cooper DeJean in for a top-30 visit. Pittsburgh is looking to find another cornerback after hitting on Joey Porter Jr. last year. DeJean can play in the slot, which is another significant need for Pittsburgh.
21. Miami Dolphins
Xavier Worthy, WR, Texas
Height: 5-foot-11
Weight: 165 pounds
Class: Junior
Fit: Mike McDaniel can't help himself here with Xavier Worthy. The Miami Dolphins need to add a No. 3 receiver, and Worthy fits the bill. Plus, this pick gives the team some insurance if it cannot re-sign Jaylen Waddle in a few years.
22. Denver Broncos (VIA PHI)
Bo Nix, QB, Oregon
Height: 6-foot-2
Weight: 214 pounds
Class: Senior
Fit: After trading back from No. 12, the Denver Broncos pick up an extra second-round choice and grab a quarterback. Bo Nix feels like a perfect fit in Sean Payton's offense because the coach wants an accurate quarterback who will run the system the way it was designed. Taking Nix at No. 12 feels rich, but at No. 22, it's much more palatable.
23. New England Patriots (Via MIN)
Brian Thomas Jr., WR, LSU
Height: 6-feet-3
Weight: 209 pounds
Class: Junior
Fit: Brian Thomas Jr. is widely viewed as the No. 4 wide receiver in this class, but he is the fifth receiver off the board in this mock, with Worthy going a few spots ahead of him. Thomas isn't a complete receiver, but his size and speed make him an easy selection at No. 23. The Patriots didn't find a franchise quarterback in Round 1 of this mock, but they add a No. 1 receiver and left tackle. Not too shabby.
24. Dallas Cowboys
Height: 6-foot-8
Weight: 322 pounds
Class: 4-Year Junior
Fit: The Dallas Cowboys are expected to address their offensive line in Round 1 after losing Tyron Smith and Tyler Biadasz in free agency. The Cowboys go with the tackle at No. 24 and hope Tyler Guyton can switch from right tackle to left tackle in the NFL.
25. Green Bay Packers
Graham Barton, OL, Duke
Height: 6-foot-5
Weight: 313 pounds
Class: Senior
Fit: Graham Barton checks every box the Green Bay Packers look for in an offensive lineman. He played left tackle for the last three seasons at Duke but projects as a guard or center in the NFL. If Barton falls this far in the NFL Draft, he would be a home run pick for the Packers in Round 1.
26. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Nate Wiggins, CB, Clemson
Height: 6-foot-1
Weight: 173 pounds
Class: Junior
Fit: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers' trade of Carlton Davis has opened up a need at cornerback, and Nate Wiggins would be a perfect fit for the Buccaneers in Round 1. He’s the fastest cornerback in the class but needs to add some weight to his frame. Still, he would be a Day 1 starter for a team that needs more cornerback depth.
27. Arizona Cardinals
Chop Robinson, EDGE, Penn State
Height: 6-foot-3
Weight: 254 pounds
Class: Junior
Fit: After addressing their wide receiver need at No. 4 with Harrison Jr., the Cardinals turn around and draft another Big Ten player at the end of Round 1. Chop Robinson is incredibly athletic, and his first step is unbelievable. He’s not a complete player right now, but he gives Arizona a much-needed boost to its pass rush.
28. Buffalo Bills
Adonai Mitchell, WR, Texas
Height: 6-foot-2
Weight: 205 pounds
Class: Junior
Fit: The Buffalo Bills are expected to draft a receiver at No. 28 after trading away Stefon Diggs. While players such as Ladd McConkey (Georgia) and Xavier Legette (South Carolina) could be on their radar, Adonai Mitchell is too talented to ignore. He gives Buffalo size and athleticism, which projects to an X-receiver in the NFL. That’s exactly what Josh Allen and the Bills need in the post-Diggs era.
29. Detroit Lions
Darius Robinson, EDGE, Missouri
Height: 6-foot-5
Weight: 285 pounds
Class: 5-Year Senior
Fit: There might not be a better fit at the back of Round 1 than Darius Robinson to the Detroit Lions. Detroit needs more defensive line help, and Robinson can play edge and defensive tackle. His best spot will be as an inside pass rusher, but his versatility and toughness match everything the Lions are trying to build.
30. Baltimore Ravens
Jordan Morgan, OL, Arizona
Height: 6-foot-5
Weight: 311 pounds
Class: Senior
Fit: The Baltimore Ravens lost three starters on their offensive line this offseason, but the draft should help them replenish their needs. Jordan Morgan was a left tackle at Arizona, but he can play either tackle or guard. He could be their starting right tackle in 2024 and potentially switch back to left tackle in the near future.
31. San Francisco 49ers
Laiatu Latu, EDGE, UCLA
Height: 6-foot-5
Weight: 259 pounds
Class: Senior
Fit: It wouldn’t be a shock to see Laiatu Latu fall in the draft due to his medical history, but he is too good of a value to pass up here at No. 31. The San Francisco 49ers have been searching for the right pass rusher to pair with Nick Bosa, and Latu couldn’t be a better fit.
32. Kansas City Chiefs
Kingsley Suamataia, OT, BYU
Height: 6-foot-5
Weight: 326 pounds
Class: R. Sophomore
Fit: Could the Kansas City Chiefs select a wide receiver here, such as McConkey or Keon Coleman? It's possible, but left tackle remains a considerable need. And with tackles flying off the board, Kansas City takes Kingsley Suamataia with the final pick in Round 1. He is still a project but has the athleticism and length to be a solid tackle immediately.
