2024 NFL Mock Draft: Latest Two-Round Predictions As Combine Nears
The NFL Combine kicks off next week, and that’s when many players will start to see their draft stock rise or fall. Athletic testing matters whether we like it or not, and it's what separates players from one another.
So before the events are kicked off in Indianapolis, here is our new two-round mock draft.
Pre-Combine 2024 NFL MOCK DRAFT
1. Chicago Bears
Height: 6-foot-1
Weight: 215 pounds
Class: Junior
Fit: We will see what the Chicago Bears end up doing with Justin Fields, but there is no way they can pass on Caleb Williams at No. 1. He is a franchise-changer with incredible accuracy and playmaking ability. You wish he had more size and wasn't so prone to fumbles, but he does everything else at an elite level. The Bears need someone to be the face of their franchise, and that's what Williams will do for them.
2. Washington Commanders
Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU
Height: 6-foot-4
Weight: 210 pounds
Class: Senior
Fit: The Washington Commanders would love to pair new offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury with Caleb Williams, but that doesn't seem likely. In this mock, they take Jayden Daniels at No. 2, giving them a franchise quarterback who can make plays with both his arm and his legs. Daniels is an excellent fit for Kingsbury's offense and could have a lot of success right away in Washington.
3. New England Patriots
Drake Maye, QB, North Carolina
Height: 6-foot-4
Weight: 230 pounds
Class: RS Sophomore
Fit: Of the top three picks, this is the most likely selection to be traded because the New England Patriots have significant needs on both sides of the ball and have a lot of needs outside of just quarterback. But Drake Maye is too good of a prospect to pass up and can be a cornerstone in Year 1 of the rebuild.
4. Arizona Cardinals
Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State
Height: 6-foot-4
Weight: 205 pounds
Class: Junior
Fit: The Arizona Cardinals are among the few teams in the league hoping for three straight quarterbacks to come off the board. Because that means they get to select arguably the best player in the class in Marvin Harrison Jr. Kyler Murray has needed someone who can win outside and down the field, which is exactly what Harrison does so well.
5. Los Angeles Chargers
Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia
Height: 6-foot-4
Weight: 240 pounds
Class: Junior
Fit: This might be the most challenging pick in the draft to figure out. The Los Angeles Chargers need offensive weapons, and Brock Bowers and Malik Nabers are on the board. They could also pick an offensive tackle with Joe Alt and Olu Fashanu still on the board. But the Chargers ultimately select Bowers to give Justin Herbert a dynamic weapon in the middle of the field.
6. New York Giants
Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
Height: 6-foot
Weight: 200 pounds
Class: Junior
Fit: In most drafts, Malik Nabers would be the clear-cut No. 1 WR and a lock to be a top-five pick. But in this draft, he's not even the second pass-catcher off the board. But the New York Giants get a steal at No. 6 with Nabers, who isn’t that far off from Marvin Harrison Jr. in the class. Nabers can be a bonafide No. 1 receiver for New York, which it has been missing since trading away Odell Beckham Jr.
7. Tennessee Titans
Joe Alt, OT, Notre Dame
Height: 6-foot-8
Weight: 315 pounds
Class: Junior
Fit: The Tennessee Titans should run to the podium if Joe Alt is available at No. 7. He is the best left tackle in the class and is a plug-and-play starter at their most significant area of need. Alt should be a Pro Bowl-caliber tackle by Year 2, and it wouldn't be a surprise if he established himself as one of the top left tackles in the NFL sooner rather than later.
8. Atlanta Falcons
Rome Odunze, WR, Washington
Height: 6-foot
Weight: 196 pounds
Class: Sophomore
Fit: Let's assume for a second that the Atlanta Falcons address their quarterback need in free agency with Kirk Cousins or Baker Mayfield. They need another weapon to pair with Drake London at receiver, and Rome Odunze would be an outstanding fit. It's another top-10 pick on an offensive weapon, but Odunze is too good of a fit and a prospect to pass up here.

9. Chicago Bears
Terrion Arnold, CB, Alabama
Height: 6-foot
Weight: 196 pounds
Class: Junior
Fit: Jaylon Johnson is a free agent and is expected to be among the highest-paid cornerbacks in the league. Even if the Bears bring him back, they could use another cornerback to pair him for the future. Terrion Arnold is the top cornerback in the class and a good value at No. 9.
10. New York Jets
Olu Fashanu, OT, Penn State
Height: 6-foot-6
Weight: 319 pounds
Class: Junior
Fit: The New York Jets need multiple starting-caliber offensive linemen, and tackle might be the most significant need on their roster. Olu Fashanu could easily go higher than this by the time April rolls around, and it wouldn't even be a huge shock if he were the first offensive tackle off the board due to his athleticism.
11. Minnesota Vikings
Quinyon Mitchell, CB, Toledo
Height: 6-foot
Weight: 196 pounds
Class: Senior
Fit: The Minnesota Vikings desperately need another outside cornerback, and Quinyon Mitchell would be a perfect fit in Brian Flores' defense. He is highly aggressive and has elite ball skills. He and Arnold are battling to be the first cornerback off the board.
12. Denver Broncos
J.J. McCarthy, QB, Michigan
Height: 6-foot-3
Weight: 202 pounds
Class: Junior
Fit: Over the past few weeks, there has been a lot of buzz about J.J. McCarthy and his draft stock. He is a lock to be the No. 4 quarterback off the board, and he may slide into the top 10. McCarthy would be an outstanding fit in Sean Payton's offense and give the Denver Broncos a long-term answer at quarterback.
13. Las Vegas Raiders
Taliese Fuaga, OT, Oregon State
Height: 6-foot-6
Weight: 334 pounds
Class: Junior
Fit: The Las Vegas Raiders pivot to the offensive line with the top four quarterbacks off the board. Antonio Pierce wants the Raiders to be more physical, and there might not be a better fit in this draft than Taliese Fuaga and Las Vegas. Jermaine Eluemunor is a free agent, and Fuaga could be a Day 1 starter at right tackle for the new-look Raiders.
14. New Orleans Saints
JC Latham, OT, Alabama
Height: 6-foot-6
Weight: 360 pounds
Class: Junior
Fit: With Ryan Ramczyk's future in doubt, the New Orleans Saints must improve their offensive line. Trevor Penning has not worked out, and he was inactive for much of the 2023 season. JC Latham could be a Week 1 starter at either tackle spot and give New Orleans more beef on its offensive line.
15. Indianapolis Colts
Dallas Turner, Edge, Alabama
Height: 6-foot-4
Weight: 242 pounds
Class: Junior
Fit: General manager Chris Ballard loves to invest high draft picks in the trenches, and selecting Dallas Turner feels like a perfect match. Turner recorded 10 sacks in the SEC last season and would fit Gus Bradley's defense to a T. The Indianapolis Colts need to be more dynamic on the edge, and Turner could help them do that in Year 1.
16. Seattle Seahawks
Laiatu Latu, EDGE, UCLA
Height: 6-foot-5
Weight: 265 pounds
Class: Senior
Fit: Boye Mafe had a nice season in Year 2, but the Seattle Seahawks must find someone to pair him with on the defensive line. Laiatu Latu isn't the biggest or most athletic edge rusher in this class, but he is technically sound.
17. Jacksonville Jaguars
Nate Wiggins, CB, Clemson
Height: 6-foot-2
Weight: 185 pounds
Class: Junior
Fit: Tyson Campbell missed a big chunk of the 2023 season, and Jacksonville's defense could never overcome it. He should be healthy for 2024, but the Jaguars need to add more talent in their secondary. Nate Wiggins should test as an elite athlete at the NFL Combine and is undoubtedly worthy of this selection.
18. Cincinnati Bengals
Amarius Mims, OT, Georgia
Height: 6-foot-7
Weight: 328 pounds
Class: Junior
Fit: If the Cincinnati Bengals re-sign Jonah Williams in free agency, look for them to go defense in Round 1. But the Bengals already have one of the highest-paid offensive lines in the NFL and need to start drafting and developing players at that spot. Amarius Mims is incredibly raw, but he is a massive offensive tackle with his best football ahead of him.
19. Los Angeles Rams
Jared Verse, Edge, Florida State
Height: 6-foot-4
Weight: 260 pounds
Class: Junior
Fit: The Los Angeles Rams could go in several different directions at this spot, but Jared Verse is a significant value at No. 19. There might not be a more well-rounded edge defender in this class, and his 29.5 tackles for a loss over the past two seasons is highly impressive. He would be a plug-and-play starter for Los Angeles and a major upgrade over Michael Hoecht.
20. Pittsburgh Steelers
Tyler Guyton, OT, Oklahoma
Height: 6-foot-7
Weight: 328 pounds
Class: Junior
Fit: The Pittsburgh Steelers started rebuilding their offensive line after trading up for Broderick Jones last year. Jones spent all of his rookie season playing right tackle, but the selection of Tyler Guyton would allow Jones to return to his natural position (left tackle). So this pick could improve two spots for the Steelers.
21. Miami Dolphins
Jackson Powers-Johnson, IOL, Oregon
Height: 6-foot-3
Weight: 334 pounds
Class: Junior
Fit: This isn't a perfect scheme fit, as Mike McDaniel usually prefers smaller, more athletic centers. But with Connor Williams set to hit free agency, the Miami Dolphins must improve this spot. Jackson Powers-Johnson is one of the cleaner prospects in this class and would significantly upgrade the interior offensive line for the Dolphins.
22. Philadelphia Eagles
Cooper DeJean, CB, Iowa
Height: 6-foot-1
Weight: 207 pounds
Class: Junior
Fit: The biggest reason the 2023 season came crumbling down for the Philadelphia Eagles was their secondary play. They lacked quality defensive backs and were gashed through the air. Cooper DeJean is a perfect fit in Philadelphia because he can play multiple spots and does them all incredibly well. He is coming off a knee injury, so he "falls" to No. 22. But this is an ideal fit for DeJean and the Eagles.
23. Houston Texans
Brian Thomas Jr., WR, LSU
Height: 6-foot-4
Weight: 205 pounds
Class: Junior
Fit: There is a good chance that Brian Thomas Jr. doesn't fall this far, as he is the clear-cut No. 4 WR in this class. But in this mock, he falls after a run on offensive lineman and edge defenders in the teens. Thomas would give the Houston Texans another big receiver to pair with Nico Collins and Tank Dell, ensuring that Houston surrounds C.J. Stroud with plenty of weapons on his rookie deal.
24. Dallas Cowboys
Byron Murphy, IDL, Texas
Height: 6-foot-5
Weight: 314 pounds
Class: Senior
Fit: The Dallas Cowboys selected Mazi Smith in Round 1 last year, but he did not have the rookie season they anticipated. Osa Odighizuwa is scheduled to hit free agency in 2025, so the Cowboys must add to their interior defensive line. Byron Murphy is an undersized defensive tackle, but he was highly productive for the Longhorns this season. He could be a full-time starter in Dallas by Year 2.
25. Green Bay Packers
Jer'Zhan Newton, IDL, Illinois
Height: 6-foot-2
Weight: 295 pounds
Class: Junior
Fit: The Green Bay Packers don't have many defined needs, but adding another interior rusher is never bad. Jer’Zhan Newton was incredibly productive over the last two seasons at Illinois, racking up 26.5 tackles for a loss and 13 sacks. He's a little undersized, but we've seen smaller defensive tackles get drafted much higher than this.
26. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Graham Barton, OL, Duke
Height: 6-foot-5
Weight: 315 pounds
Class: Senior
Fit: It's no secret around the NFL that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers want to upgrade their center position. But with Jackson Powers-Johnson off the board, Tampa Bay has to get creative. Graham Barton has played some center in his college career but was mostly a left tackle for Duke. But he is incredibly smart and tough, which is exactly what Tampa Bay needs on its interior offensive line.
27. Arizona Cardinals
Troy Fautanu, OT, Washington
Height: 6-foot-4
Weight: 317 pounds
Class: Junior
Fit: Paris Johnson Jr. will likely move over to left tackle in 2023, but the Cardinals need help everywhere else on the offensive line. Troy Fautanu might be a guard in the NFL, but he is a powerful player who can move defenders at will. There is a chance he could stick at tackle, but expect the Cardinals to put him right next to Johnson on the left side and keep the blindside of Kyer Murray safe.
28. Buffalo Bills
Kool Aid-McKinstry, CB, Alabama
Height: 6-foot-1
Weight: 195 pounds
Class: Junior
Fit: The Buffalo Bills could take a wide receiver at this spot but don't expect them to reach. Instead, they take the best cornerback on the board. Kool-Aid McKinstry had a down season in 2023 but is still a first-round cornerback. McKinstry would fit in well in Buffalo, especially with the uncertain status of Tre'Davious White moving forward after his season-ending Achilles injury.
29. Detroit Lions
Darius Robinson, DL, Missouri
Height: 6-foot-5
Weight: 296 pounds
Class: Senior
Fit: Darius Robinson just feels like a player that Dan Campbell will love. He's tough, physical and can play multiple spots on the defensive line. He's not the most refined rusher, but his upside is enormous, and he would pair well with Aidan Hutchinson.
30. Baltimore Ravens
Ennis Rakestraw Jr., CB, Missouri
Height: 6-foot
Weight: 188 pounds
Class: Junior
Fit: The Baltimore Ravens love to select physical cornerbacks who can tackle. And there might not be a more physical cornerback in the class than Rakestraw. He isn't afraid to take on offensive tackles in the run game, which is rare for a college cornerback. He hasn't been the most durable player in college, and his playstyle is likely to blame. But Rakestraw is a perfect Ravens cornerback who would pair nicely with Marlon Humphrey.
31. San Francisco 49ers
Jordan Morgan, OT, Arizona
Height: 6-foot-5
Weight: 325 pounds
Class: Senior
Fit: The San Francisco 49ers need offensive line help, and Jordan Morgan couldn't be a better fit. He might not have the length to hold up at left tackle, but he could be an elite guard or a solid right tackle in the NFL. Morgan does a great job of blocking on the move, which is a must for offensive linemen in Kyle Shanahan's offense. Morgan will likely be a guard in San Francisco, but his position flexibility would be an excellent addition to this unit.
32. Kansas City Chiefs
Keon Coleman, WR, Florida State
Height: 6-foot-4
Weight: 215 pounds
Class: Junior
Fit: The Kansas City Chiefs decided to ignore wide receivers in Round 1 in the 2023 draft, and it worked out well. They grabbed Rashee Rice in Round 2, and he went on to lead their receivers in receptions, yards and touchdowns. But the Chiefs need another receiver who can win on the outside and down the field. Keon Coleman isn't a perfect fit because he needs to develop as a route runner, but his size and ball skills would give Patrick Mahomes a new type of target in this offense.
Round 2
Pick 33, Carolina Panthers: Adonai Mitchell, WR, Texas
Pick 34, New England Patriots: Ladd McConkey, WR, Georgia
Pick 35, Arizona Cardinals: Chop Robinson, EDGE, Penn State
Pick 36, Washington Commanders: Kamari Lassiter, CB, Georgia
Pick 37, Los Angeles Chargers: T’Vondre Sweat, DL, Texas
Pick 38, Tennessee Titans: Xavier Worthy, WR, Texas
Pick 39, New York Giants: Bo Nix, QB, Oregon
Pick 40, Washington Commanders: Chris Braswell, EDGE, Alabama
Pick 41, Green Bay Packers: Kingsley Suamataia, OT, BYU
Pick 42, Minnesota Vikings: Zach Frazier, OC, West Virginia
Pick 43, Atlanta Falcons: Bralen Trice, EDGE, Washington
Pick 44, Las Vegas Raiders: Edgerrin Cooper, LB, Texas A&M
Pick 45, New Orleans Saints: Troy Franklin, WR, Oregon
Pick 46, Indianapolis Colts: Tyler Nubin, S, Minnesota
Pick 47, New York Giants: Patrick Paul, OT, Houston
Pick 48, Jacksonville Jaguars: Christian Haynes, OL, UConn
Pick 49, Cincinnati Bengals: Roman Wilson, WR, Michigan
Pick 50, Philadelphia Eagles: Junior Colson, LB, Michigan
Pick 51, Los Angeles Rams: Kiran Amegadjie, OT, Yale
Pick 52, Pittsburgh Steelers: Mike Sainristil, CB, Michigan
Pick 53, Miami Dolphins: Ja’Tavion Sanders, TE, Texas
Pick 54, Philadelphia Eagles: Malachi Corley, WR, Western Kentucky
Pick 55, Cleveland Browns: Kris Jenkins, DL, Michigan
Pick 56, Dallas Cowboys: Jonathan Brooks, RB, Texas
Pick 57, Green Bay Packers: Kamren Kinchens, S, Miami
Pick 58, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Jonah Elliss, EDGE, Utah
Pick 59, Houston Texans: DeWayne Carter, DL, Duke
Pick 60, Buffalo Bills: Ja’Lynn Polk, WR, Washington
Pick 61, Detroit Lions: T.J. Tampa, CB, Iowa State
Pick 62, Baltimore Ravens: Adisa Isaac, EDGE, Penn State
Pick 63, San Francisco 49ers: Ruke Orhorhoro, DL, Clemson
Pick 64, Kansas City Chiefs: Brandon Dorlus, EDGE, Oregon
