2025 NFL Mock Draft: Latest Predictions After This Year's Combine
The 2025 NFL Combine came to a close over the weekend, and with it comes a brand new opportunity to assess the landscape for this year's NFL Draft. Some changes in perception may come due to expected or announced personnel moves, such as the newly reported Deebo Samuel trade to Washington. Other changes may come due to medical reports or athletic testing with the Combine itself. And, of course, the buzz from the event courtesy of the rumor mill is always good to shake up the status quo.
So, what will the 2025 NFL Draft look like? Here's our latest effort at forecasting possible scenarios with a new 2-round 2025 NFL mock draft.
1. NEW York Giants (Via TEN)
TRADE: New York Giants send 1.03, 2.34, and 2026 2nd to Titans for 1.01
Selection: Cameron Ward, QB, Miami (FL)
Fit: The Giants were one of the teams reported to be in the hunt for Matthew Stafford last week before the Rams locked in a new contract. If the Giants, with the jobs of leadership on the line, are going to get aggressive for an answer, they may as well take the Titans up on their public posturing of potentially trading out of No. 1 overall. The value of the deal will be the big sticking point, but if the price is, hypothetically, a swap of picks No. 1 & 3 with New York also sending No. 34 and a 2026 Day 2 pick to the Titans, it'd be a price well worth paying to secure the top quarterback in the class, Cam Ward.
2. Cleveland Browns
Selection: Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado
Fit: Cleveland's analytical background makes it seem probable that they'd covet the potential value of a quarterback and renewed rookie contract as compared to going to a different position with this pick on the board. That makes the pick lean towards QB Shedeur Sanders. Sanders is going to be the polarizing projection as the perceived QB2 in a down year at the position — you've seen some of that buzz already leaving Indianapolis. But he makes for a likable fit in the Browns offense under Kevin Stefanski.
3. Tennessee Titans (via NYG)
Selection: Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State
Fit: If the Titans pull this off, take a bow. It certainly feels like this team isn't too keen to draft a quarterback this high. The swap with New York would give them an extra top-35 pick this year, an extra Day 2 pick next year, AND the chance to still potentially draft the player they'd be taking at No. 1 anyway with Abdul Carter. The pass rush need will expand if the Titans find a trade suitor for Harold Landry or, alternatively, cut him loose to save money for the future.
4. New England Patriots
Selection: Travis Hunter, CB, Colorado
Fit: New England could very easily take the offensive line option here with Will Campbell, and no one would bat an eye. But between the team's need for upgraded weapons for Drake Maye and the need to get more talented at corner, Travis Hunter feels like a long-term double-dip opportunity that could be too good to pass up. The Patriots can afford to play the long game, which means drafting not for short term needs.
5. Jacksonville Jaguars
Selection: Kenneth Grant, DL, Michigan
Fit: The first big surprise of the draft! Save your Trent Baalke jokes — but Jacksonville lands a monster prototype to play in the trenches with this pick of Kenneth Grant. We did not see either Michigan defensive tackle work out at the Combine, but you can be rest assured the Michigan pro day is going to have fireworks in store for the supersized Grant. Jacksonville could certainly use his elite run defense, but don't sleep on his pass rush potential long-term, either.
6. Las Vegas Raiders
Selection: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State
Fit: Las Vegas made the big swing last week for quarterback Matthew Stafford and fell short. Knowing where they rank in this draft and that they have a shorter window than many rebuilding teams thanks to Pete Carroll's age, don't be surprised if they take another hack at an established NFL quarterback to be their answer. Doing so, along with a deeply invested offensive line, makes Ashton Jeanty a potential massive addition as a missing link to a dangerous offense.
7. New York Jets
Selection: Mason Graham, DL, Michigan
Fit: It was an odd week for Mason Graham in Indianapolis. No one was expecting him to be the biggest defensive tackle in attendance, but it was still very much a surprise to see him come into the event at 296lbs, more than 20 pounds below his listed weight on the roster. One thing that's clear, no matter his weight, is that he's got some great tape on his resume. Another thing that's clear is that the Jets need defensive line depth. Graham would help create quite the pairing with Quinnen Williams.
8. Carolina Panthers
Selection: Shemar Stewart, EDGE, Texas A&M
Fit: No one is hotter in this pre-draft process than Shemar Stewart. He was great at the Senior Bowl and again excellent at the NFL Combine with some Myles Garrett-level testing. There's going to be plenty of discourse over his sack production, but the tape shows ample disruption, and the Texas A&M scheme wasn't necessarily the most enabling to their ends, creating havoc in the backfield. This could be a foundational piece on defense for the Panthers.
9. New Orleans Saints
Selection: Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas
Fit: Nipping at Stewart's heels for the hottest prospect in football is Jahdae Barron, who tested excellent in Indianapolis to go with a major breakout season in 2024. Given the likely departure of cornerback Paulson Adebo in free agency, Barron can help step in and fill the void and give this secondary more flexibility with personnel. He can play inside or outside, which is a dangerous combination to go along with Alontae Taylor and Tyrann Mathieu.
10. Chicago Bears
Selection: Will Campbell, OG, LSU
Fit: Chicago has to be thrilled to see Will Campbell still on the board at this stage of the 1st-round. The tackle questions are fair to ask but the Bears don't just need a tackle. They need a tackle and two guards — plus a center that Campbell feels unlikely to fill. The Bears can run this pick in and feel great about getting an answer somewhere on the line.
11. San Francisco 49ers
Selection: Will Johnson, CB, Michigan
Fit: San Francisco's defense is going to need some fine-tuning. They got some good news about offensive tackle Trent Williams this past week for 2025, and even amid the trade of wide receiver Deebo Samuel, the investment of wide receiver Ricky Pearsall has the group positioned to take those changes in stride. At cornerback, Chavarius Ward is destined to sign elsewhere. We've seen a run of defensive linemen already in this scenario, whittling down the options to consider with this pick. Will Johnson's tape is too good to let slip any further than here as the new centerpiece for Robert Saleh.
12. Dallas Cowboys
Selection: Armand Membou, OT, Missouri
Fit: Dallas is facing the retirement of a future Hall of Famer in Zack Martin. In the wake of his departure, the Cowboys need a new guard and could certainly use a cheaper and more talented right tackle than Terence Steele long-term. Membou offers answers to both of those challenges for Dallas.
13. Miami Dolphins
Selection: Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama
Fit: A majority of Miami's biggest needs on the roster loom at non-premium positions, which gives the team the chance to still draft a great player who can move the needle despite a rough draw here. Miami returned defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver for the 2025 season and was successful in their signing of LB Jordyn Brooks — but he needs a running mate. Linebacker play in today's NFL is a high-pressure and conflicting position due to the spacing issues of modern offenses; that has been a big problem for the Dolphins for years. Getting a supersized, explosive linebacker who can pop in coverage but also rush the passer and play on the edge gives the Dolphins that missing second weapon on the second level.
14. Indianapolis Colts
Selection: Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State
Fit: Indianapolis is on the hunt for the right mix of pieces to put around quarterback Anthony Richardson amid their bid to salver their investment. As the saying goes, tight ends are a young quarterback's best friend. Warren can step right in as an upgrade at 'Y' for the Colts and maintain the smashmouth football this team has been built upon.
15. Atlanta Falcons
Selection: Matthew Golden, WR, Texas
Fit: Our next big surprise! Matthew Golden was blazing in Indianapolis, helping build his argument to climb the wide receiver ranks. This pairing makes a ton of sense when you consider the Falcons already have a big-bodied threat in Drake London. Golden running the vertical routes for Michael Penix Jr., who was quite good pushing the ball downfield in college, has the makings of an explosive mix.
16. Arizona Cardinals
Selection: Mike Green, EDGE, Marshall
Fit: Arizona's defensive growth under Jonathan Gannon is quite promising, especially considering what their pass rush room looked like last year. They're missing a few dangerous pieces up front, but no one in this class may have a better first step than Green. A healthy BJ Ojulari and Green would go quite a long way in putting more explosiveness onto the edge.
17. Cincinnati Bengals
Selection: Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia
Fit: Cincinnati's standoff with Trey Hendrickson last summer went off without too much of a disruption. All he did since was post another 17.5 sacks and put the ball back in the Bengals' court to reassess his deal. With or without a new deal for Hendrickson, the Bengals need more from their edge group. And after betting big on elite traits last year with Amarius Mims, the Bengals can do so again on the other side of the line with Williams.
18. Seattle Seahawks
Selection: Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina
Fit: You saw Emmanwori in Indy, right? Yeah, me too. The explosiveness here is off the charts and now that he's stood on business and affirmed all of that in the formal NFL testing environment, he could be primed for a big rise through the rankings. There aren't too many players out there that you could pick to do similar things to what Kyle Hamilton does, but after leaving Hamilton behind in Baltimore, head coach Mike Macdonald finds one here at No. 18 overall.
19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Selection: Darien Porter, CB, Iowa State
Fit: The Bucs love those big, long corners! And with Jamel Dean missing nine games over the last two seasons while posting just one interception and creeping closer to age 30, now may be the time to draft one of the biggest and longest corners in this year's class. Porter can absolutely fly, too — making him a potential big-time talent to play under Todd Bowles.
20. Denver Broncos
Selection: Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan
Fit: Denver gets their mismatch player with the addition of Colston Loveland. Pay no mind to his production profile last year; the quarterback play in Michigan wouldn't be particularly friendly to any high-volume target. Payton will surely know how to get the most out of this supersized pass catcher and help offer the right kind of support around young quarterback Bo Nix.
21. Pittsburgh Steelers
Selection: Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State
Fit: The pairing of Egbuka and Pittsburgh feels right — he's a tough, physical receiver who can compliment George Pickens in the short term and potentially take the WR1 mantle in the long run. Whoever plays quarterback in Pittsburgh will be doing so behind a well-invested offensive line, a deep tight end room, and, if Egbuka is the pick, a pair of gifted pass catchers.
22. Los Angeles Chargers
Selection: Omarion Hampton, RB, North Carolina
Fit: Los Angeles got a good run out of JK Dobbins in 2024. He's an expiring contract and boasts a troublesome injury history, however. It seems like there's some momentum out of Indianapolis for multiple first-round running backs, and this could be as good a pairing of stylistic identity and talent as you'll find for a team and prospect. Hampton serving as Harbaugh's bell-cow back would mean big problems for the AFC West.
23. Green Bay Packers
Selection: Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona
Fit: It doesn't feel like McMillan is valued in the same area and range of the draft as what the outside world has generally seen him as for the past 8 months or so. He wasn't necessarily feeling the love with the insider buzz. Is it a smokescreen? Or could he actually be positioned for a bit of a slide? If he does drop out of the top half of the 1st-round, a landing spot in Green Bay could be an absolute dream amid the Packers' missing "volume' target for their perimeter passing game.
24. Minnesota Vikings
Selection: Maxwell Hairston, CB, Kentucky
Fit: Hairston has savvy ball skills and runs like the wind. He's got quick feet and transitions, which allow him to trigger from off-coverage aggressively. That certainly feels like the makeup of a cornerback for Brian Flores' defensive scheme. Even if Minnesota returns Byron Murphy, Stephon Gilmore's expiring contract leaves a vacancy to be filled at cornerback.
25. Houston TExans
Selection: Tyler Booker, OG, Alabama
Fit: Houston could have gone wide receiver in this spot, but the board didn't break their way. Instead, they can target a mauler in the middle of the offensive line who can help boost all facets of Houston's offense. Protecting CJ Stroud for those aggressive shots downfield should be a top priority for the Texans this offseason, and Booker helps in a big way.
26. Los Angeles Rams
Selection: Carson Schwesinger, LB, UCLA
Fit: This felt like a possible tackle spot until last week when the team agreed to extend Alaric Jackson on a new 3-year deal. With the group's offensive line now locked into place, potential picks at wide receiver to replace Cooper Kupp are worth considering. But the upgrade potential of a local prospect at MIKE linebacker may be too good to pass up. Carson Schwesinger didn't start a lot of football games but his instincts are off the charts but he's a gifted talent who could help make the Rams' loaded front seven even more imposing.
27. Baltimore Ravens
Selection: Jalon Walker, EDGE, Georgia
Fit: The Ravens did that Ravens thing they do every year where they opportunistically let the board fall their way. It wasn't all that long ago that an undersized Georgia linebacker fell into the last few picks of the first round due to questions about his size to play on the edge. Nolan Smith seems to be working out pretty well for Philadelphia. There's little reason to think that Walker, especially in a sim pressure style defense, can't also be a big-time asset to a team drafting him late in the 1st-round.
28. Detroit Lions
Selection: Donovan Ezeiruaku, EDGE, Boston College
Fit: Detroit needs long-term pass rush options opposite Aidan Hutchinson. The attrition that hit that roster last year hit hard. Za'Darius Smith is under contract in 2025, but beyond that, Detroit is staring at a bit of a blank canvas. Ezeiruaku tested very well in Indy at the Combine, has prototypical length despite being on the shorter side, and boasts a robust number of pass-rush counters.
29. Washington Commanders
Selection: Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio State
Fit: Simmons shared some good news with the world at Indianapolis with the suggestion that he'll be medically cleared in time to hold a Pro Day before the draft. That will go a long way in salvaging some of his draft stock but the games lost amid a breakout season feel likely to instill some doubt in his profile. If he makes it this deep in the draft, he'd be a wonderful addition to the Commanders' line and help keep Jayden Daniels protected as Washington looks to follow up their successes of 2024. 2024 3rd-round pick Brandon Coleman played admirably at left tackle as a rookie, but this is an upgrade opportunity too good to pass up, and Coleman is capable of playing inside at guard.
30. Buffalo Bills
Selection: Malaki Starks, S, Georgia
Fit: Buffalo has other, more prominent needs on their roster — such as up front on the defensive line and potentially at cornerback. But we've now seen eight defensive linemen go off the board and another five cornerbacks through 29 picks, meaning the value available versus other spots may not line up. Is Cole Bishop really going to stop the Bills from adding an instinctive talent such as Starks? He's a much better tackler than Bishop and is well-groomed for playing complex coverages on the back end.
31. Kansas City Chiefs
Selection: Kelvin Banks Jr., OT, Texas
Fit: Banks Jr., like Tetairoa McMillan, has long been considered a consensus top talent at his respective position. And, not dissimilar to McMillan, I left the NFL Combine more curious as to where the league stands on Banks versus the outside consensus. He's still a very promising talent with plenty to offer in the run game. The last time the Chiefs got upstaged by an opposing defense in the Super Bowl, they came out swinging to restock the front. They've already exercised the franchise tag on Trey Smith. Banks would be too good to pass up amid the questions at both tackle spots and an aging Joe Thuney.
32. Philadelphia Eagles
Selection: Walter Nolen, DL, Ole Miss
Fit: The Eagles are primed to go through the inevitability of ever Super Bowl champion — role players on expiring contracts will get offers to be featured players on other teams and make more money. One spot where a potential loss looms is at defensive tackle, where Milton Williams may be in for a big payday. In his place, the Eagles can target a twitchy interior defender in Walter Nolen to fill his void and keep the Eagles impossible to match across the board up front.
Round 2
33. Cleveland Browns: Josh Conerly Jr., OT, Oregon
34. Tennessee Titans (Via NYG): Xavier Watts, S, Notre Dame
35. Tennessee Titans: Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri
36. Jacksonville Jaguars: Azareye'h Thomas, CB, Florida State
37. Las Vegas Raiders: Jaxson Dart, QB, Ole Miss
38. New England Patriots: Donovan Jackson, OG, Ohio State
39. Chicago Bears (via CAR): Nic Scourton, EDGE, Texas A&M
40. New Orleans Saints: Elic Ayomanor, WR, Stanford
41. Chicago Bears: Aireontae Ersery, OT, Minnesota
42. New York Jets: Shavon Revel Jr., CB, East Carolina
43. San Francisco 49ers: James Pearce Jr., EDGE, Tennessee
44. Dallas Cowboys: Derrick Harmon, DL, Oregon
45. Indianapolis Colts: Grey Zabel, OG, North Dakota St.
46. Atlanta Falcons: Benjamin Morrison, CB, Notre Dame
47. Arizona Cardinals: Tyleik Williams, DL, Ohio State
48. Miami Dolphins: Alfred Collins, DL, Texas
49. Cincinnati Bengals: Mason Taylor, TE, LSU
50. Seattle Seahawks: Elijah Arroyo, TE, Miami (FL)
51. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: J.T. Tuimoloau, EDGE, Ohio State
52. Denver Broncos: Jack Bech, WR, TCU
53. Pittsburgh Steelers: Quinshon Judkins, RB, Ohio State

55. Green Bay Packers: Trey Amos, CB, Ole Miss
56. Buffalo Bills (via MIN): Jared Ivey, EDGE, Ole MIss
57. Houston Texans: Jaylin Noel, WR, Iowa State
58. Carolina Panthers (via LAR): Jacob Parrish, CB, Kansas State
59. Baltimore Ravens: Jayden Higgins, WR, Iowa State
60. Detroit Lions: Jonah Savaiinaea, OG, Arizona
61. Washington Commanders; TJ Sanders, DL, South Carolina
62. Buffalo Bills: TreVeyon Henderson, RB, Ohio State
63. Kansas City Chiefs: Omarr Norman-Lott, DL, Tennessee
64. Philadelphia Eagles: Tate Ratledge, OG, Georgia
