For more than 35 years, Elliott Kalb has been known in the sports television industry as “Mr. Stats.” He is a 13-time Sports Emmy winner, as a writer/researcher/producer. A noted sports historian who has authored five books; Elliott has worked for decades covering the NFL. Kalb has been associated with NBC Sports for more than 30 years, first covering the NFL as a researcher/statistician in the broadcast booth; and then serving as an Editorial Consultant for the first 13 seasons of Football Night in America. Kalb also was the writer/researcher for HBO’s Inside the NFL for 17 seasons; and worked eight Super Bowls for Westwood One Radio.
