Jake Butt is a former NFL tight end who played with the Denver Broncos from 2017-2020 after the team selected him in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Butt played his college ball with the Michigan Wolverines, where he had a successful career. In his junior season, he won the Ozzie Newsome Award. He was a first-team All-American and was named Kwalick–Clark Tight End of the Year in 2015 and 2016. Butt won the John Mackey Award given to the top tight end in college football, as well.
Butt began his broadcasting career with Big Ten Network in 2022, calling games for the network since.
