Dez Bryant Calls Cowboys Best Dallas Team Since '90s After Bears Beatdown

In his second game back post-thumb injury, Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott led the Dallas Cowboys to a 49-29 home win over the Chicago Bears on Sunday.

The Cowboys (6-2) went 9-of-11 on third down and scored touchdowns on all four of their red-zone appearances. RB Tony Pollard, filling in for the injured Ezekiel Elliott, rushed for 131 yards on just 14 attempts (9.4 average) and three touchdowns.

It was the third-most points scored by a Dallas team since 1980, bringing at least one ex-Cowboy out of the woodwork to make a case for this Cowboys team being the best since the 1990s.

On Sunday, the Cowboys started with an 11-play, 75-yard touchdown drive capped off by a Prescott keeper for the score. He finished with 34 yards on the ground on five carries, as the Cowboys showed off some new wrinkles with a read-option look that featured wide receiver CeeDee Lamb in the backfield with Prescott.

The Cowboys took a 14-0 lead a drive later, as Prescott found Lamb for a 21-yard touchdown, and the Cowboys never looked back.

Prescott finished 21-of-27 for 250 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. Since his return, he has completed 40-of-52 passes for 457 yards and three touchdowns with just one interception.

It was Pollard, however, who stole the show. The Bears looked hapless trying to stop him.

Pollard's 131-yard performance got him over the 500-yard mark for the season, more than doubling his season's touchdown total, going from two to five.

Bears quarterback Justin Fields finished 17-of-23 for 151 yards and two touchdowns, while adding another 60 yards on the ground on eight carries.
