Roche is on the smaller side at 6'3" 245lbs. His size doesn't inhibit his strength or Power and has the thick frame to add more weight if he needs to
Mental - Is he instinctual? Does he play with urgency?
Roche is a tough player who plays with a violent streak. He hasn't missed a game in his tenure at either Temple or Miami. plays his assignments well
Athleticism - Does he have the athletic traits you want?
His explosion out of his stance is extremely impressive. He uses great speed when tracking down ball careers and can jump swipe or rip around the edge of the blocker. He can also change direction at a high level if the ball carrier moves based off of his rush
Technical - Does he have a refined skill set? Is he a projection or is his game developed enough to contribute early?
Get off and initial burst are at an extremely high level. Rarely uses power when initiating a move with the blocker but has a very good rip or jump swipe move to go inside or outside. Closes on the ball carrier after the block incredibly well and has above the line suddenness if he needs to change direction to track down the ball carrier

Roche is a 6'3 245lb EDGE player who projects as a 3-4 OLB. Plays mostly on the line moving forward and doesn't have incredible versatility to drop back. Is one of the most explosive edge players in the draft and uses rips and swipes in hand fighting to either go outside or inside the blocker well. Once past the blocker he closes in on the ball carrier very fast and shows impressive change of direction when needed
