NFL Week 12 Main Slate Cash Games Plays

Week 12 Cash Games

Week 12 contains good value at the running back position, which allows you to get up to some of the higher-priced quarterbacks, wide receivers, and tight ends. Below are the players containing the highest floor, with some appeal from a ceiling perspective. Here are the best cash plays of Week 12.

Quarterbacks

Patrick Mahomes ($8,200 DK/ $9,000 FD)

The Chiefs are implied to have the second most points on the entire slate, and Mahomes will be why they get there. Mahomes has had over 20 points in seven straight games and can do it with his legs or through the air. The Rams have blitzed at a high rate this season, and against the blitz this season, Mahomes has 11 passing touchdowns and zero interceptions. With the cheaper running backs projected to get volume, Mahomes is obtainable and has a high floor in this matchup against the Rams.

Justin Herbert ($7,000 DK/ $7,900 FD)

Herbert had his first game over nine yards per attempt last weekend, which aligns with Keenan Allen playing a full game. Allen allows Herbert to work the middle of the field against zone coverage, which has been the missing piece in the offense. Herbert has also had back-to-back games with five carries and seems 100% healthy from that rib injury. This game features one of the highest totals on the slate and will be one of the more fast-paced games.

Honorable Mention: Geno Smith ($6,000 DK/ $7,600 FD)

Sleeper Pick: Taylor Heinicke ($5,300 DK/ $6,500 FD)

Running Backs

Jeff Wilson ($5,900 DK/$7,700 FD)

Raheem Mostert is doubtful, and Wilson is expected to see a big workload. The Texans' run defense has allowed five running backs over 140 rushing yards this season and six running backs over 23 fantasy points. Wilson has averaged 6.5 yards per carry with the Miami Dolphins this season, and with how the Texans keep two safeties back, the Dolphins will run the ball.

Rachaad White ($5,100 DK/$6,400 FD)

Leonard Fournette is doubtful, putting White in line for plenty of touches. On 22 rushing attempts last weekend, White ran for over 100 yards and averaged 4.8 yards per carry. The Browns have given up over 170 yards rushing in the previous two games and, on the year, give up 5.3 yards per carry.

Honorable Mention: James Conner ($6,600 DK/$7,000 FD)

Sleeper Pick: Michael Carter ($5,400 DK/ $6,200 FD)

Wide Receivers

Keenan Allen ($6,100 DK/$7,300 FD)

Allen looked great in his first game back against the Chiefs and gave someone Herbert could target against zone coverage. Allen, against zone coverage, has been targeted on 33.3% of his routes, which is the primary coverage for the Cardinals. This week, Allen should see an increased snap share and is in for a big workload.

Garrett Wilson ($5,100 DK/$6,400 FD)

Wilson is the clear number 1 option in the passing game; he leads the team in targets per route run and is second in yards per route run. Mike White will be the starting quarterback, and I believe this will make the offense much more efficient. The Bears have given up 27 or more points in the last four games. Wilson’s ADoT has been 9.5 this year, and White wants to keep it short and allow his players to move the ball after the catch.

Honorable Mention: Terry McLaurin ($5,800 DK/ $7,200 FD)

Sleeper Pick: Treylon Burks ($4,200 DK/ $5,900 FD)

Tight Ends

Travis Kelce  ($7,700 DK/$8,200 FD)

Kelce has five straight games over 80 yards receiving. No matter what teams have played against the Chiefs, he has managed to get open. Kelce has the highest floor amongst any tight end in football. With the value at running back, you should be getting to him in cash.

Foster Moreau ($3,400 DK/$5,400 FD)

Head Coach Josh McDaniels' has always focused on the opponent's weakness. The Seahawks have been one of the worst teams in the NFL at defending tight ends. Moreau is the main tight end in this offense, and they might be without Josh Jacobs. Moreau has been the only tight end running routes and is in a spot to put up a big game.

Honorable Mention: Mark Andrews ($6,500 DK/ $7,300 FD)

Sleeper Pick: Tyler Conklin ($3,100 DK/ $4,800 FD)

Defense/Special Teams

Chiefs ($2,800 DK/$4,900 FD)

The Rams could be without Matthew Stafford, putting Bryce Perkins as the starter. Perkins played in last week's game, completed 50% of his passes, and took three sacks. The Rams are implied to have two touchdowns, and the Chiefs are a safe bet at their price.

Jets ($3,300 DK/$5,000 FD)

Trevor Siemian could start for the Bears this week, and that would drastically change their offense. The Bears have had one of the worst offensive lines in the league, which Justin Fields has helped mask with his athletic ability, and Siemian does not have that. The Jets have also been one of the best defenses in the NFL, and with the change to Mike White, I expect a more efficient offense.

Honorable Mention: Panthers ($3,000 DK/ $3,900 FD)

Sleeper Pick: Jaguars ($2,500 DK/ $3,800 FD)
