The 33rd Team's weekly QB rankings are a snapshot of where the league's 32 current starters are right now, taking into account the player's recent production, his supporting cast, his health, and an evaluation by our scouting department, led by former NFL team executive T.J. McCreight and assisted by scouts Justin Casey, Kevin Cohn and Evan Pritt.

1. Josh Allen, Bills
Record: 4-1 | QB Rating: 107.4 | Prev. Rank: 2
Next Three Games: at Kansas City, vs. Green Bay, at N.Y. Jets
Comment: Allen had one of the best first halves of football for a QB in NFL history. His 348 first-half passing yards are second only to ... Patrick Mahomes.

2. Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs
Record: 3-1 | QB Rating: 110.5 | Prev. Rank: 1
Next Three Games: vs. Buffalo, at San Francisco, vs. Tennessee
Comment: Throw four touchdowns with no picks, lead your team to victory after falling behind by 17 points and drop from the top spot? That’s how good Allen and Mahomes are. They will probably be taking turns swapping in and out of the top spot for the rest of the season
3. Jalen Hurts, Eagles
Record: 5-0 | QB Rating: 97.4 | Prev. Rank: 3
Next Three Games: vs. Dallas, vs Pittsburgh, at Houston
Comment: Hurts didn’t have his best game against Arizona, but he made enough plays to keep Philadelphia as the lone undefeated team.
4. Lamar Jackson, Ravens
Record: 3-2 | QB Rating: 97.9 | Prev. Rank: 4
Next Three Games: at N.Y. Giants, vs. Cleveland, at Tampa Bay
Comment: Without his best stuff, Lamar Jackson led his team in a two-minute drill that got the Ravens in position to win the game.

5. Tom Brady, Buccaneers
Record: 3-2 | QB Rating: 96.5 | Prev. Rank: 5
Next Three Games: at Pittsburgh, at Carolina, vs. Baltimore
Comment: Brady is starting to put things together, and if you can’t tackle him, he’s going to be hard to beat.
6. Justin Herbert, Chargers
Record: 3-2 | QB Rating: 100.8 | Prev. Rank: 6
Next Three Games: vs. Denver, vs. Seattle, at Atlanta
Comment: It was nice to see the Chargers run the ball and take some of the load off of Herbert, who played an efficient game.
7. Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals
Record: 2-3 | QB Rating: 89.7 | Prev. Rank: 7
Next Three Games: at New Orleans, vs. Atlanta, at Cleveland
Comment: Burrow led the Bengals on a go-ahead touchdown drive, but it wasn't enough to win an important division game.
8. Kirk Cousins, Vikings
Record: 4-1 | QB Rating: 86.4 | Prev. Rank: 12
Next Three Games: at Miami, vs. Arizona, at Washington
Comment: Cousins moved into the top 10 with another solid statistical game while other quarterbacks continue to struggle.

9. Aaron Rodgers, Packers
Record: 3-1 | QB Rating: 95.8 | Prev. Rank: 8
Next Three Games: vs. N.Y. Jets, at Washington, at Buffalo
Comment: A quarterback of Rodgers' regard needs to be able to elevate the play of those around him well enough to hold a two-touchdown lead against an inferior opponent.
10. Matthew Stafford, Rams
Record: 2-3 | QB Rating: 82.4 | Prev. Rank: 9
Next Three Games: vs. Carolina, vs San Francisco, at Tampa Bay
Comment: Stafford finally found someone other than Cooper Kupp on a downfield throw, but he needs more help from his running game and offensive line.
11. Jared Goff, Lions
Record: 1-4 | QB Rating: 92.9 | Prev. Rank: 11
Next Three Games: at Dallas, vs. Miami, vs. Green Bay
Comment: Goff isn't the first quarterback to get shut out by a Bill Belichick team, and he’s still in the top 5 in TD passes this season.
12. Jimmy Garoppolo, 49ers
Record: 3-2 | QB Rating: 97.9 | Prev. Rank: 18
Next Three Games: at Atlanta, vs. Kansas City, at L.A. Rams

13. Geno Smith, Seahawks
Record: 2-3 | QB Rating: 113.2 | Prev. Rank: 16
Next Three Games: vs. Arizona, at L.A. Chargers, vs. N.Y. Giants

14. Derek Carr, Raiders
Record: 1-4| QB Rating: | Prev. Rank: 14
Next Three Games: vs. Houston, at New Orleans, at Jacksonville
Comment: Carr leads the best 1-4 team in football.
15. Cooper Rush, Cowboys
Record: 4-1 | QB Rating: 93.9 | Prev. Rank: 15
Next Three Games: at Philadelphia, vs. Detroit, vs. Chicago
Comment: The Cowboys are 4-0 with Cooper Rush this year, but that doesn’t mean he should remain the starter when Dak Prescott returns.
16. Trevor Lawrence, Jaguars
Record: 2-3 | QB Rating: 88.0 | Prev. Rank: 10
Next Three Games: at Indianapolis, vs. N.Y. Giants, vs. Denver

17. Kyler Murray, Cardinals
Record: 2-3 | QB Rating: 84.3 | Prev. Rank: 13
Next Three Games: at Seattle, vs. New Orleans, at Minnesota
Comment: If his mishandling of the final drive wasn’t bad enough, Murray's lime green suit was more than enough to drop him.
18. Ryan Tannehill, Titans
Record: 3-2 | QB Rating: 94.2 | Prev. Rank: 20
Next Three Games: vs. Indianapolis, at Houston, at Kansas City
Comment: Tannehill looks really good handing off to Derrick Henry.
19. Jacoby Brissett, Browns
Record: 2-3 | QB Rating: 85.4 | Prev. Rank: 19
Next Three Games: vs. New England, at Baltimore, vs. Cincinnati
Comment: He's good for 58 minutes. It's those last two ...

22. Matt Ryan, Colts
Record: 2-3 | QB Rating: 79.8 | Prev. Rank: 22
Next Three Games: vs. Jacksonville, at Tennessee, vs. Washington

Record: 2-3 | QB Rating: 82.8 | Prev. Rank: 17
Next Three Games: at L.A. Chargers, vs. N.Y. Jets, vs. Jacksonville

25. Teddy Bridgewater, Dolphins
Record: 3-2 | QB Rating: 74.7 | Prev. Rank: 23
Next Three Games: vs. Minnesota, vs. Pittsburgh, at Detroit
Comment: A product of the new concussion protocols, Bridgewater's availability is questionable this week.

26. Andy Dalton, Saints
Record: 2-3 | QB Rating: 98.5 | Prev. Rank: 24

Record: 1-3-1 | QB Rating: 80.6 | Prev. Rank: 25
Next Three Games: at Las Vegas, vs. Tennessee, vs. Philadelphia

28. Bailey Zappe, Patriots
Record: 2-3 | QB Rating: 104.7 | Prev. Rank: 30
Next Three Games: at Cleveland, vs. Chicago, at N.Y. Jets

Record: 2-3 | QB Rating: 73.1 | Prev. Rank: 31
Next Three Games: vs. Washington, at New England, at Dallas
Comment: Down 21-3, Fields led the Bears back to take the lead, but it wasn’t enough.
